Connecting the PC to the hardware via Ethernet allows the
uploading of the system design, revision of the firmware
operating system for connected devices and real time control
of parameters and routings within the DSP Soundweb London
devices.</p>
<p>It should be ensured that the Soundweb London devices
have been installed in their equipment racks, and that
the connections between them are the same as in your system
design.</p>

<p>The PC must have an Ethernet connection (100BT, RJ45
connection) to be connected to the network on which the
London Devices reside. Connect using either a CAT-5 crossover
cable, or straight through cable if going via a network
switch. The &quot;&#152;Ethernet&quot; RJ45 rear mounted control
port is used for this purpose (<span style="font-style: italic;">not</span>
the <a href="Cobranet&#32;Information.html">CobraNet</a> ports).</p>
